OVERVIEW The Office of Faculty Development and the Advancing Research through Mentorship program is offering an interactive workshop that will demystify the grant writing process, offering practical guidance on: Structuring a persuasive and polished proposalAvoiding common mistakes that derail applicationsCommunicating your science with clarity and impact This writing workshop is designed for active participation. Sessions will not be recorded. Attendance at all five sessions is essential to fully benefit from this experience. REQUIREMENTS A draft document, ideally a grant submission or resubmission in progress is required for all sessions. The expectation is that participants will work on drafts between sessions and provide updated drafts of writing each week. This is an interactive writing workshop. As a participant, you will do peer review, writing, editing, and will share your writing with fellow attendees. You will learn to be a better writer by writing and revising your own material.
